Today, we are going to swap out the factory smooth-bore .177 barrel with Barra’s .22 caliber rifled steel barrel. It’s AWESOME that BARRA provides this upgrade path. I’m trying to think of any other manufacturer that has taken this route lately. Let me know in the comments if you know of any.

So, we are going to show you how to swap in the new barrel, and then we are going to take a few shots over the chrony to see how the BARRA 1866 shoots with some H&N wadcutter pellets. Let’s get started.
