First of all, I was super anxious. Felt like a failure. Was ashamed.
But eventually I realized I have to take action to fix it. So here‘s what I did 👇🏼
1) I called all my previous clients and asked them if they needed more work.
2) I found 2 of my past clients to be interested in more work that year (that was in 2017)
3) I offered them a discount if they started the project right now and paid 50% upfront.
4) They paid within 3 days and I had $15,000 in my bank.
Key takeaway here is not that you have to wait until you’re down to the last penny to do this…
You should instead regularly call all your past happy clients and sell them more.
Upsells are the easiest way to make money because the client already trusts you and has experienced working with you in the past.
