Have you ever heard of a 13-year-old boy who tried to make $1,000,000 before he turned 20? This story is about a young man who took on several jobs, from being a lawn mower to an entrepreneur, and even a janitor, in order to reach his goal. This isn't just a story of financial success, but a journey of personal growth, hard work, and determination.
At the age of 13, the young man starts his first job working on a farm for $6.25 an hour, but after a bad experience, he quits and starts offering his services for $15 an hour through a flyer. This leads him to start his own small landscaping business and earn $2,000 in the first summer, bringing his total earnings to $4,000. This experience taught him the importance of thinking outside the box to find new opportunities and limitless ways to make money.
As he grows older, the young man continues to focus on growing his landscaping business and adding new clients, but also realizes the importance of having multiple income streams. He starts working as a janitor and creates a pre-workout supplement, which he sells. Despite facing challenges, he continues to work hard and make more money, eventually moving to college to study entrepreneurship and pole vault.
But after struggling with balancing his studies and businesses, the young man drops out and moves 1600 miles away to Arizona to start fresh. He reads 28 finance books and starts a pool cleaning business, eventually buying a moving company. He grows his business and become a nationwide company with 50 employees, making $821,000 by the end of the year and bringing his total revenue to $1,332,000 in 7.5 years at the age of 20.
This is my tale and evidence of how vital hard work, persistence, and taking chances can be. From my experience, I learned about the significance of saving, giving great service, making different sources of income, having a positive image, and never quitting. I hope my story motivates you to believe that with effort and perseverance, anything can be achieved.
