Access News Jo, known online as "Joesthetics", died suddenly of an aneurysm in his girlfriend Nicha's arms, following neck pain three days ago.
His heartbroken girlfriend Nicha announced Jo died while they were cuddling, shortly after gifting her a custom made necklace with her name on it.
Nicha posted on Instagram: "He was in my arms... than this is just happening too fast... 3 days ago he kept said that he had pain in his neck ... we didn't really realise it until it was too late.
"If your guys were know him like I do… his is the amazing and incredible person in this world."
Nicha went on to share intimate photos taken of the couple before his tragic death.
Weeks before his death, Jo said he feared over-training would give him a heart attack due to his rare muscular condition.
Jo suffered from rippling muscle disease, where muscles are unusually sensitive to movement or pressure.
He previously told YouTuber Bradley Martyn: "The heart is also a muscle, that’s my biggest concern that what if I get such a bad cramp that my heart gets a cramp."
His friend Noel Deyzel said: "Rest in peace Jo. I still keep checking my phone waiting for your reply so we can meet at the gym.
I'm broken bro. You opened your arms up to us, you showed us so much about life and social media.
"Your generosity towards myself and others will always stay with me.
"I just don't know what to say anymore. It hurts to know you are gone forever man. I love you bro, rest easy."
Other fans commented on his last Instagram post: "I'm at a loss for words. Rest in peace brother, you've inspired me in so many ways. Fly high."
Another said: "Big man with a bigger heart! I’ll miss you bruzzza!!!"
Jo gained fame through his bodybuilding routines and content he shared online with fans.
