Do you have a habit that you can’t break? A certain behavior or response or even something you say is your character? Well, the Lord doesn’t want anything to have power over you.
Even when He gave us the Holy Spirit, we are called to work with, be led and to walk in the Spirit, He doesn’t do anything without our permission. When we surrender and are yielded to Him, we see the greatest manifestation of His power through us, but He doesn’t just take over without our surrender.
That’s why, even transformation doesn’t come without our cooperation! We can’t just say “change me Lord”, but refuse to give up that habit.
But I don’t have the strength to change! Yes I know but you can exercise your will to decide and then allow His grace to take over. The process itself maybe long or short, but it starts with willingness and surrender.
Firstly, keep on receiving His love and keep on living and realizing your real identity. You are a child of God, you have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! Yes you are in Christ.
So keep on believing and looking to Jesus and the will to live victorious will come and you will find grace to reign in life. (Romans 5:17)
