Κύριε, εκέκραξα προς Σε, εισάκουσόν μου, εισάκουσον μου Κύριε.
Κύριε, εκέκραξα προς Σε, εισάκουσόν μου.
Πρόσχες τη φωνή της δεήσεώς μου,
εν τω κεκραγέναι με προς σε. Εισάκουσόν μου, Κύριε.
Κατευθυνθήτω η προσευχή μου ως θυμίαμα ενώπιον σου.
Έπαρσις των χειρών μου, θυσία εσπερινή, εισάκουσον μου Κύριε.
Κύριε ἁμαρτάνων οὐ παύομαι, φιλανθρωπίας ἀξιούμενος οὐ γινώσκω,
νίκησόν μου τὴν πώρωσιν, μόνε Ἀγαθέ, καὶ ἐλέησόν με.
Κύριε, καὶ τὸν φόβον σου πτοοῦμαι, καὶ τὸ πονηρὸν ποιεῖν οὐ παύομαι,
τίς ἐν δικαστηρίῳ τὸν δικαστὴν οὐ πτοεῖται;
ἢ τὶς ἰαθῆναι βουλόμενος, τὸν ἰατρὸν παροργίζει ὡς κᾀγώ;
Μακρόθυμε Κύριε, ἐπὶ τῇ ἀσθενείᾳ μου σπλαγχνίσθητι, καὶ ἐλέησόν με.
Οἴμοι! τὶ ὁμοιώθην ἐγώ, τῇ ἀκάρπῳ συκῇ, καὶ πτοοῦμαι τὴν κατάραν σὺν τῇ ἐκκοπῇ,
ἀλλ' ἐπουράνιε γεωργὲ Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός,
τὴν χερσωθεῖσάν μου ψυχήν, καρποφόρον ἀνάδειξον,
καὶ ὡς τὸν ἄσωτον Υἱόν, δέξαι με καὶ ἐλέησόν με.
Τὰ πλήθη τῶν πταισμάτων μου πάριδε Κύριε, ὁ ἐκ Παρθένου τεχθείς,
καὶ πάσας ἐξάλειψον τὰς ἀνομίας μου,
λογισμόν μοι παρέχων ἐπιστροφῆς, ὡς μόνος φιλάνθρωπος,
δέομαι καὶ ἐλέησόν με.
Lord, I have cried to You, listen to me
listen to me, oh Lord.

Accept my praying voice
while I am crying to you.
Listen to me, Lord.
Let my prayer reach you
just like the smoke of an incence before you
I raise my hands, in this evening sacrifice,

Lord, I do not stop commiting sins, hence I do not deserve
your philanthropy,
defeat my persistence, you, the only beneficent one and have mercy on me.
Lord, am discouraged because I am afraid of you , and yet I keep doing cunning things,
Who is not afraid of the judge, when standing in court?
or who is making the doctor angry, when wanting , just like me, to be cured?
Patient Lord, now that I am sick,
feel sorry for me and have mercy on me.
Alas, I look like the fruitless fig tree
and I am afraid of the curse only when I am cut off,
But you, heavenly granger God, Jesus Christ,
turn my infertile soul, into a fertile one,
and accept me like the prodigal son, showing your mercy on me.
Ignore my numerous faults, Lord
being born by Virgin Mary, and erase all the lawless things I have done
making me think about coming back,
since you are the one and only benevolent,
I am begging you, have mercy on me.
