As part of an ongoing series by Artist Susan Merrick she spent 3 days in Berlin with Tanja Ostojić and this public performance was one of the outcomes of this time together.
Seated on a plinth like concrete support on the top of an anti-aircraft (FLAK) tower in central Berlin Tanja carefully shaved lines into Susan's head, translating the lines of the fence in front of them. In part a homage to previous work of Tanja's, and also a consideration of the care and support female Artists can offer one another in sharing practice.
