Gabe is an autistic and nonspeaking teenager. He communicates in a variety of ways including an AAC device, eye contact, body language, and now he is learning Rapid Prompting Method!
When he attends his session every week he gets very excited to start spelling!
This time he spelled “start some fun loving acts of victory”
We asked him what he meant by that and he then spelled “my own words” and then we asked what he felt and he spelled “proud”
I can’t wait to see what he has to say this afternoon!
