🌶️ Spicy Mezcal Margarita 🌶️
Spicy Margaritas are having a moment, and this instalment of the Kitchen Cupboard Spicy Margs™ series sees the sweet heat of Korean chilli flakes (gochugaru) bounce off of a split base of smoky, vegetal mezcal, and creamy blanco Tequila. It is 🔥 in the best possible way (but doesn’t blow your head off).
25ml @doshombres mezcal
25ml @mijentatequila blanco
10ml @cointreau
25ml chilli syrup (1tbsp gochugaru and 1tbsp sugar dissolved in 2tbsp hot water, then strained)
25ml lime juice
Add all your ingredients into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and give it a good shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass with a chilli salt rim (of course).
