This is a DIY about how to paint old earrings with nailpolish to make them nice again. You can use any color, or glitter you like. Yes, you can paint your earrings with nail polish. You will need to use a base coat of clear nail polish to protect the earrings and then you can paint them with any color you like. Be sure to let the nail polish dry completely before wearing the earrings.
If you have sensitive ears, use clear nail polish to dip your earrings’ posts in nickel-free nail polish. I enjoy wearing fashion earrings, but I am sensitive to all metals except gold and surgical steel. The trick is used on nearly all of the novelty earrings I own, in addition to silver, copper, and cheap novelty.
Metal is an excellent surface for peeling nail polish off. The first step is to use a plastic tool to remove the polish. If you want to work with hard metals, a sharp scraper would be a good option. After you have finished removing nail polish residue, use nail polish remover or denatured alcohol.
