[TOP 30] Sonic Wave Infinity 100% by: APTeam & more! (Legendary Demon) || Geometry Dash || Ӽҳ̷VøíɗҳӼ
Ӽҳ̷VøíɗҳӼ Well my friends, the journey hasfinally come to an end. After 57k+ attempts, over 100 hours, and a whole month of grinding I finally did it. Sonic Wave Infinity complete. I jumped from Sonic Wave, a Top 150 (170 now?) to a Top 30. Genuine Insanity. Ill break it down into mini chapters to make it easier to read.
Why?
Probably the first question that comes to your mind when you hear of my achievement is why I did it. Honestly, I cant give a straight answer. I always wanted to beat a list demon, and Sonic Wave Infinity was the first Top 1 when I joined the game so it meant alot to me. Also, I saw vid of someone jumping from Sonic Wave to Cosmic Cyclone mand it really inspired me!:)
How?
Beating Sonic Wave 4 times and all my unlucky fails actually helped me alot. I was able to get really consistent with the Sonic Wave type of gameplay. With this in mind I figured imma get down the parts that are pretty similar to the original, and then learn the new parts. This strategy helped a lot, but Up arrow and spacebar just weren’t cutting it. WELL…I bought a Sayo for Christmas. This thing is likely actually so broken. I can spam so fast and still be so crazily consistent.! Also the level was extremely laggy, which is why I never picked it up. But I decided to wipe my laptop clean, by removing Blue stacks, deleting all of my old files and removing over 5k pictures + Videos. This helped a lot! I could actually run sonic wave infinity with nearly consistent 240 fps. And I could actually open the editor and place Start positions. Also a big support from my friends helped a lot. Every run and the reaction really helped me push on this level. Tbh without any of those factors, idk if I could’ve pulled through. So Thank you.
About the level & My Experience:
This level is rough. Like, it shows no mercy ngl. No part is free anymore and every part requires consistent focus. And the ending is no joke but let’s start from the first cube. This cube itself is badly hyperbuffed. Honestly, I didn’t like it at all. It hardly felt consistent, and this is where most of my deaths came from. Next was the ship. Ngl I never was a ship player at least on the higher end terms, but I still enjoyed this part somewhat, it felt very satisfying to pull of and I didn’t die here much. The ball I loved so much, and they fixed the pink orbs so yay!. Dual Ball was difficult tho. Then is the drop, this levels drop is pretty intense, and the first wave is really hard. But I kinda got consistent at it a lot, even the yellow to blue portal corridor at the start. The dual mini wave is where my consistency slowly began to die. This part was so hard for no reason I didn’t like it idk why. The consistency wave on the otherhand was really fun and super satisfying to pull off. The wave after that is just impossible, that’s it. Took a LONG time to get consistent with. The infamous 48% click is free now lol. The cube spam is mostly free, and doesnt really bug anymore which is awesome. The transition into the wave after this is rough dude. The slow wave after this was pretty free, and then the dual wave gets really consistent. After this is the upside down wave, which is just hell obviously. Not much to say. The cube spam is most free, and doesnt really bug anymore which is awesome. I had to practice this part alot and I still died to 67% TWICE. The memory cube part was literally free icl. But then the final Wave is impossible. Im so glad I fluked it bc they hyperbuffed that thing so badly. Overall Id say I was really lucky and the level wasnt too bad.

Some small things to keep in mind:
- Wave Trail breaks alot ever since 2.2, and this has alot to so with slopes and an extended hitbox.
- My reaction was pretty calm as my real reaction was with the 23-100% run, and I also had to cut out the audio after the reaction as my mom called me by my name 😅
-This is my first list demon and a jump from Sonic Wave
-I added in Sonic Wave attempts as they heavily influenced my experience and skills in SWI
-This is probably my last hardest unless I decide to the Kocmoc or slaughterhouse one day, so thank you to all of you for sticking till the end, it really means alot to me.

Final Words:
I hope my achievement goes to show that nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it, and I hope it inspires my friends and other GD players to keep grinding on and shoot for the stars. ~Void 😙
