Spent the weekend at my parents' place and we were greeted with a Sri Lankan meal for dinner! Remember how Chris bought an @ourplace always pan last year because he was fed up of spending hours cleaning our previous pans after I was done cooking each night?
Well, we've expanded our collection because these pans really are insanely easy to clean! The team at Our Place recently sent us samples of their Diwali collaboration with @radhidevlukia ... My mom loved the color of the cookware which is inspired by the clay lamps traditionally lit during Diwali (also matches the heritage clay pots used for every day cooking back home). I also liked the saffron flower detail on the handle symbolizing the richness and vitality celebrated during the festival, echoing the abundance of saffron in Diwali sweets. I also found these Limited Edition pans lighter than our regular Our Place ones, which makes this Diwali collection great for folks with wrist issues!
With Halloween and Diwali falling on the same day this year, there's going to be some fusion celebrations in play! #srilankanfood #srilankancooking #wambatumoju #srilankanrecipes
