Pinas News Committee on Games and Amusement | March 18, 2024 Sen. Raffy Tulfo asked an explanation from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on his recent discovery of a lone bettor who won the Lotto Games multiple times.
As the Games and Amusement Subcommittee resumed on Monday, March 18, 2024, its inquiry on the integrity of the PCSO's Lotto Games, Tulfo observed that similar names of bettors repeatedly claimed winnings amounting to some P9 million; with one winner, for instance, getting P225,000 from the PCSO eight times in July, and another claiming winnings of the same amount in August nine times. "If they are not the winners, who are they?" Tulfo asked.
The senator added that no law prohibits the PCSO from divulging the identities of Lotto winners. Tulfo said the Senate panel will invite some of the winning individuals listed by the PCSO.
