Worthy farewell to short-track trotting at Maliebaan

The short-track trotting race traditionally organised on Maliebaan by Veterinary Medicine Students was held for the very last time on September 24, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the faculty. Held since 1982, the event serves to present the faculty to the residents of Utrecht and also includes an information market. Protests against the use of animals for entertainment are one of the reasons for abandoning the race part. DUB attended the last race, camera in hand.
