SpaceX is getting ready to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the SATRIA communications satellite for PSN based in the Republic of Indonesia. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is now scheduled for 6:06 p.m. EDT (2206 UTC) this evening. The Falcon 9 first-stage will be making its 12th flight and will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
The SATRIA satellite will provide broadband internet and communications capacity for schools, hospitals, and other public use facilities in Indonesia’s rural regions.
