Yesterday, Moscow launched a lethal barrage of rockets that poured down on seven important Ukrainian towns during a protracted 24-hour bombardment, which included attacks targeting museums and residential houses. This was the Kremlin's heaviest bombardment since the invasion began in February.

Professor Mark Galeotti said that yesterday's brutal shelling of Ukraine, which resulted in at least 19 deaths and 105 injuries, indicates how desperate the beleaguered dictator is to make up for his army's embarrassing performance over the last several weeks.
On Monday, Russia launched its most significant attack on Ukraine since the original invasion in February. This occurred only days after a suspected truck bomb destroyed a large piece of the Kerch bridge in Crimea, one of the dictator's favorite projects.
Even though Ukraine has not acknowledged responsibility for the strike, Moscow has blamed Kyiv.
Over eighty cruise missiles and twenty-four drones were fired in a prolonged 24-hour bombardment, impressive museums, cultural heritage sites, and residential houses in seven towns, including Kyiv, the capital.
This morning, residents were alerted by sirens to brace for the second day of bombardment, with several cities reporting missile attacks before 8 a.m. BST.
The severity of the assaults has caused a "psychological change" in the commander, who is being pressured at home by a party of hardliners to unleash tactical nuclear strikes in Ukraine.
