This is Labor Day Weekend! We celebrate all who labor for the welfare of our community, nation, and world. We give thanks for the work that is done in our behalf!
In today’s reading, Jesus had work to do. He knew what he was sent to do and was not going to be deterred from that work.
He calls us to serve as well to help fulfill his purpose. It requires hard work and sacrifice but there is nothing more fulfilling.
