Mga ka-Faith, sa video na ito, tatalakayin natin ang malalim na kahulugan ng sign of the cross na ginagawa natin bilang mga Katoliko. Ayon kay Pope Francis, bawat beses natin ginagawa ang sign of the cross, naaalala natin na ang Diyos ay isang communion of love.
Simple lang ang kilos, pero malalim ang simbolismo. Naalala natin kung gaano tayo kamahal ng Diyos, at na ang pagmamahal na ito ay bumabalot sa atin ng buo, parang yakap na hindi tayo iniwan.
Inimbitahan tayo ni Pope Francis na gumawa ng sign of the cross sabay-sabay, bilang pag-alala na ang Diyos ay Ama, Anak, at Espiritu Santo, na nag-alay ng buhay para sa atin.
Matagal na ang tradisyon ng paggawa ng sign of the cross, na nagmula pa sa panahon ni St. Basil noong 4th century. Sa video na ito, makikita natin kung paano natin ito ginagawa at naaalala bilang palatandaan ng ating pananampalataya at pag-asa sa Diyos.
