In this presentation we look at the teaching with regard the situation when death occurs to the children prior to receiving Baptism. We start with the De fide statement: "Souls, who depart from this life in the state of original sin are excluded from the Beatific Vision of God." Then we look at theological clarification by the church on how possible ways to understand the fate of these children. We also look at the case of Baptism by desire and Baptism by blood and how it can be applied to these children.
