Arizona man's bet on the Diamondbacks pays off handsomely

FOX 10 Phoenix A Mesa man made a bet that the Arizona Diamondbacks would make the World Series, and doubled down by betting that they would take on the Texas Rangers.
That man, Scott Powell, was watching Game Seven of the NLCS when the D-backs won. That moment meant Powell's $5 bet won him $1,000.
"It's incredible," said Powell, who counts himself as a lifelong D-backs fan. "I don’t know any feeling that can beat that."
