Sikh history Talks The name Lakhi Jungle relates to a sakhi of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji when he visited this site and is said to have recited the Japji Sahib Sava Lakh times. At the time there was a dense jungle forest here. Gurdwara Sri Lakhi Jungle Sahib is situated 15 km from Bathinda city on the outskirts of village Lakhi Jungle.
