Whisky.com reviews the Maclean's Nose. Maclean's Nose comes from the Isle of Mull and is created by the Ardnamurchan Distillery. The label is made from the draff, what remains of the barley after production and is usually fed to cattle and farm animals. The bottling was developed in honour of the 'Chief Nose' Charles Maclean to convince his fine nose for Scotch whisky, which the distillery has certainly succeeded in doing with Maclean's Nose. A high malt content (70%) combined with a high proportion of former sherry casks, makes the Blend a fruity and pleasantly fine-spicy taste experience.
