Russian troops retreating from their positions in the village of Andriivka south of Bakhmut are pursuing a Ukrainian offensive around the town in Donetsk Oblast, General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Andrii Kovalov said on July 25.
Ukrainian troops counterattacked in at least three directions in eastern Donetsk and southern Zaporizhzhia oblast. They are gradually advancing towards the southern flank of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast and towards Berdiansk and Melitopol in the south, the Institute for War Studies reported in its latest update.
