AUKUS partners ‘unwilling’ to increase defence capabilities

Sky News Australia The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says the three AUKUS partners at a governmental level are “unwilling to increase their defence capabilities”.
Mr Sheridan said both the United Kingdom and Australia “need to increase defence spending”.
“While they talk about AUKUS in theory, it’s been going for a few years now; it hasn’t delivered a single weapons system,” he told Sky News Australia.
“It won’t deliver all these nuclear subs unless the industrial capacity of all three countries rises massively.
“All three countries are promising to do that over the horizon.”
