I always feel a wave of emotions when the ark is closed after the Torah has been placed back in it. Closing the doors of heaven? Saying goodbye to the "Tree of Life", representing our connection to our heritage and the wisdom passed down through generations? The nostalgia in the prayer "make our days seem fresh as they once were"?
What does this moment mean to you?
Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom and may your heartfelt prayers be answered.
Recorded live on Rosh Hashanah 2022
