Money In The Bank Part 2! | WWE 2k23 Universe Mode
After the WWE completely Reset in WWE 2k22, and a FULL YEAR LATER, we are here! Vince McMahon decided to sell the company after being FORCED to leave by losing to Austin Theory at WrestleMania, and the NXT GM Rylo Meltzer decided to buy it BEFORE Head Booker Jake Pentagon (me) could get to it. (AKA, While i was having a WrestleMania match vs Sami Zayn) Jake appointed Rylo as NXT GM as a favor, but now, he's lost control from within. Rylo decided to leave Jake as the GM of RAW, and take over Smackdown for good!
WE FEELIN LIKE MONEY and we open up Money In The Bank with The United States Champion Chad Gable squaring off in a DREAM MATCH against one of his mentors, Kurt Angle! We have a Smackdown Womens Championship match as Bayley defends against the woman she's been ducking from for a long time, Iyo Sky! There's also a triple threat Smackdown Tag Team Championship match as Imperium defends against both The Usos and The Brawling Brutes! The WWE Championship is being defended as Seth Rollins takes on Bobby Lashley of the newly reformed Hurt Business! Then our main event is the Mens Money In The Bank Ladder match as Sami Zayn, Dominik Mysterio, LA Knight, Karrion Kross, Bron Steiner, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Montez Ford all try for the briefcase! Who walks out as Mr. MITB?
HOW THIS UNIVERSE MODE WORKS:
2k23 RULES
-2 GMs battle it out weekly to see who has the better show (Community Polls after each RAW/SD episode)
-Whoever is winning in the ratings/polls gets a little boost to their show (tbd later)
-No Stealing Talent (unless a stipulation/loan), and Trades can be made
-Whoever has the best show at the end of 2k23, wins...something
FROM THE RESET
-All Championships have been vacated, leaving each brand with a World, Midcard, Womens, and Tag Titles
-Every storyline from current day has been DROPPED, but you can't erase a superstar's history with one another
-Each Wrestler will have their Win / Loss Record tracked, with everyone having a clean slate 0-0 record.
-The Rosters will stay relatively the same from real life at the start, with little twists (No Released Talent)
-Videos will be sporadic from now on, I'm not promising a schedule.
This Universe Mode will be different then some of the others. I will be deciding who wins, I'm not gonna try to hide it, because you can see the pin screen and targeting thing. There will be 4 or 5 matches per episode, depending on the storylines going on. If there is anymore than 4, they will be edited down to not take too much time, I don't wanna make 30 minute videos here unless its a PPV. The matches will be mostly from the camera angle that WWE 2k22 Provides, with most of them using highlight reel for the finish or after the match for a custom cutscene. Expect the unexpected in this Universe Mode, and remember...to not take it too seriously.
