Award Ceremony of the Obermayer Awards 2024 (english version)

Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin The Obermayer Awards 2024 were presented at the Rotes Rathaus on January 29th to seven projects for their outstanding commitment to preserving Jewish history and combating prejudice, including a special prize.
The Governing Mayor of Berlin Kai Wegner, the President of the Berlin House of Representatives Cornelia Seibeld, the Managing Director of Widen the Circle Joel Obermayer and the Jury President Sara Nachama congratulated this year's award winners, who were interviewed live by presenter Shelly Kupferberg and whose projects were presented in short films:
1. Dirk Erkelenz, Cologne/North Rhine-Westphalia
2. EXIL e. V., Eberswalde/Brandenburg
3. Christoph Mauny, Weimar/Thuringia
4. Marie Rolshoven, Berlin
5. Anneke de Rudder, Bad Bevensen/Lower Saxony
6. Margit Sachse, Roßdorf/Hesse
7. Katharina Oguntoye, Berlin (special prize)
