What matters most when taking modeling digitals is making sure that each image captures your personality while also showcasing how photogenic you are. The aim should be to create pictures that don’t just look amazing but communicate to prospective clients who you really are.
The most basic mistakes that models make while clicking these model Polaroids are :
1. Makeup : It should never appear as if you have applied makeup . That’s a straight NO from agencies !
2. Lighting: Understanding good lighting is key for a model and the same applies for digitals. Shoot on a clean white background with ample lighting - trust me good lighting hides all those imperfections too ! And NEVER EDIT yourself in digitals . The agencies can tell.
3. Expressions: Models don’t need to have a sullen straight face all the time . These pictures are to showcase your personality - give them a range of expressions keeping in mind the kind of modeling you want to be going . Smiling is ACCEPTABLE ! As long as I can see your face clearly and it’s not over the top posing - feel free to play around with it .
