Full-Preterism compromises the gospel because it denies a future bodily return of Jesus Christ and denies the future bodily resurrection of saints. Full-Preterism is to be avoided as heresy and will cause some to swerve from the truth as Paul warned Timothy of this poisonous teaching:
"But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some."
