Life Word This will be the formation of the greatest army Israel has ever had. They started with David when he had nothing and when he was running like a fugitive. They were men who saw the future. They believed in David and they committed their lives to him and what was it the Lord wants to do with him. It takes courage to follow a man whom you do not yet see his future. By identifying with David at such trying time means declaring themselves enemies to Saul and they were ready to bear the consequences. They were not mighty men from the beginning. But David became their captain. What greatness can come out of life totally yielded to God?
