17yr Single Cask Highland Park, finished in a PX barrel and bottled at 55.5% from @boutiqueywhisky
Now THIS is my kind of dram. Contrasting flavours of sweet, fruitness combined with gentle wafts of soft smoke. The type of dram that you keep going back to to discover new flavour notes. 55.5% is a nice strength and you don't get any overpowering ethanolic notes from this.
Now I was lucky enough to get this sent to me, which is why I ended up sharing it with so many people. I never understand why some people online receive bottles and then just horde them on shelves to be sipped by themselves once in a blue moon.
Anyway...the big question is, can someone explain the artwork to me?! 😂
