DP It was really tough conditions and I thought Wigan played the conditions better than us. I thought Harry Smith kicked really well. They dominated area and the only time we got a set again was in 76th minute and we had some time in their 20th minute. But other than that, we were just trying to get out of our own half and we didn't succeed. Honestly, you do a great job. There are some real lessons for us playing rugby league in the rain and we will learn from them and we will be a better team for that. But I'm disappointed, I really don't think we're as good as we would like to be in difficult circumstances. Q Having said that, you should be happy to be only four points behind at halftime. DP It was a great breakout attempt for us in the first half after being under pressure. We talked about being in the game at halftime, but we really didn't give it our best. We talked about kicking early and eventually we made a mistake and it put us under pressure again. So I don't think we played a really smart game in rugby league in the rain and that will be the most important lesson for us from this game. Having said that, we were under extreme pressure for most of that match and lost. I have no idea what video referee saw at the end but this was Greg Minikin's attempt and it would have been closest match then. I don't think it was that close, I thought they deserved to win the match. But I was telling the kids that when you're in a close game, you only need three or four minutes to finally win. They got down goal but we were right to the end in terms of scoring and there is a lesson for us there too, control your nerves because even if you don't play well you can still win game. Q Do you think there were times when the team stood up completely? DP If you look at our bench, it probably gives you a good picture of where we are right now. There were two outside backs on the bench, a real rookie for Lucas Green and Daryl Clark coming back from injury. So we have a 9, a young midfielder and two outside backs. This will put a lot of pressure on the middlemen out there. Since Thomas Mikaele went to Australia, we had Sammy Kasiano who hit the cross, we have two suspended men and two more injuries. The weight of what's happening to us here means that it's likely to happen. We were standing, rocking the team trying to give us what we needed, but today it was pretty tough.
