SONY HDR-MV1 LIVE DRUM SOLO AND BAND SOUND TEST

Richard Lopez I recorded this Saturday night March 7, 2015 at Wild Willy's in Largo, Florida for a band there called Black Jack Bomber using my new Sony HDR-MV1 camcorder.... Overall very impressed with the sound and video, however not having a flip out display to frame your image while recording was a challenge but still well worth the money. Because the music was so loud I had to adjust the mic gain down on the camera. The result being zero distortion when you crank up the sound here. The actual video is a lot cleaner and crisper than it is here after being compressed by YouTube. Also what I started doing is setting up my Ipad in front of the stage just to record the sound. When you combine that with the video you get a nice even sound level.
