As much as we face situations that cause stress and worry, the Israelites in the days of Isaiah (and the believers in the early church) had much more tangible reasons to be afraid. But God provided these words of comfort and assurance to not only address their fears but to give His people boldness to testify about His faithfulness and mercy. Isaiah 43 gives us four reasons not to be afraid – 1) God created us; 2) God saved us; 3) God called us and; 4) God will protect us. Therefore He calls us to be witnesses that 1) He is real; 2) He is faithful and 3) He is worthy of our praise. Come be encouraged and emboldened by God’s Word!
