FatheringAutism As a sum of all the parts there's definitely aspects related to autism or a diagnosis. I think primarily the communication deficit. The big picture though, it's just a behavior of a person regardless of their diagnosis. The communication deficit comes into play because we can't simply tell her "if you act like that then you don't go places" and it be understood or effective at getting rid of the behaviors. So to answer the question...yes...and no.
