Woman dies in Manteca shooting; 2 suspects killed in fiery Alameda County crash

KCRA News A woman died after being shot in Manteca on Sunday, and two suspects in the shooting died hours later in a fiery crash in Alameda County, according to authorities. Manteca police said they received a call around 10 p.m. reporting a woman with a gunshot wound located in the 1300 block of West Yosemite Avenue near a Planet Fitness gym. KCRA 3 has learned the woman, Ashley Waters, was shot while picking up her boyfriend, with whom she had recently moved into a new place in Stockton.
