Matt Gersper interview Abel James who is known as the Fat Burning Man because when he was younger he dealt with his weight. Now he coaches others how to lose weight.
Here are some tips on how to help adolescents with obesity:

Diet: Encourage adolescents to eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. They should also limit their intake of processed foods, sugary drinks, and unhealthy fats.
Exercise: Adolescents should get at least 60 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every day. This can include activities such as walking, running, biking, swimming, and playing sports.
Lifestyle: Adolescents should also make healthy lifestyle choices, such as getting enough sleep, managing stress, and avoiding tobacco use.
Counseling: If an adolescent is struggling to lose weight, they may benefit from counseling from a registered dietitian or a certified personal trainer. A counselor can help the adolescent develop a personalized plan to reach their weight loss goals.
Here are some additional tips for parents of adolescents with obesity:

Be a role model: Children learn by watching the adults in their lives. If you want your child to eat healthy and be active, make sure you are doing the same.
Make healthy food choices available: Keep healthy foods on hand in the kitchen and pantry. This will make it easier for your child to make healthy choices when they are hungry.
Limit unhealthy food choices: Don't keep unhealthy foods in the house, such as chips, cookies, and soda. This will make it harder for your child to eat them.
Encourage physical activity: Make sure your child has plenty of opportunities to be active. This could include signing them up for sports teams, taking them for walks, or playing games in the backyard.
Be patient: It takes time to lose weight and keep it off. Don't get discouraged if your child doesn't see results immediately. Just keep working at it and they will eventually reach their goals.
If you are concerned about your child's weight, talk to their doctor. They can help you develop a plan to help your child reach a healthy weight.
