Some teachers today are interpreting Isaiah 63:1-3 in such a way as to portray the Messiah as a bloody conqueror who slaughters many in the modern country of Jordan near the ancient city of #Bozrah in Edom. But what does the Messiah himself have to say about looking for him in the desert or even in the inner room of the temple?
In summary, the interpretation says that the Messiah returns first to Bozrah and slaughters many Muslims, then goes to the temple to establish himself with an earthly kingdom. But in Matthew 24:26 we find that the Messiah specifically warns us not to look for him first in the desert and then in the “inner room”! Our Messiah said his kingdom was “not of this world” in John 18:36.
Luke 21:27 and Acts 1:9-11 make it very clear that the Messiah will return in the clouds of heaven. So who is it who pretends to be the Messiah and sits in the temple of God? Is it not the greatest deceiver of all, the Satan?
