On a research trip in the Siberian wilderness, an anthropologist encounters a bear that bites her in the face and seriously injures her. She is now half human, half bear - an in-between being in which worlds implode.
The new music theatre production BÄR*IN by director Franziska Angerer and composer Arne Gieshoff takes this true story and transforms it into a cross-genre evening about metamorphoses and the relationship between humans and animals and even has a look on Berlin´s bear history.
World premiere on 21 June with further performances on 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 June and 1 July 2023.
