In today’s video, we’re going to compare both Verizon and AT&T to determine which stock might be a better buying opportunity. Right now they’re both offering a dividend yield of over 7% which definitely makes them attractive to people seeking high yielding opportunities and is probably why this video was requested over on our Patreon. These companies probably don’t really need much of an introduction; they're both very large communication businesses that’ve existed for decades. AT&T was founded as the Bell Telephone Company back in 1875 and Verizon would eventually result from the Department of Justice breaking up AT&T in 1984. They were originally known as Bell Atlantic before eventually changing their name to Verizon.
