*Wednesday 24th April 2024- Midweek Service*
*Hebrews 10:38-39 [Now] [the][just shall live by faith;] [But if] [anyone] [draws back,] [My soul has no pleasure in him."] But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.*
*2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.*
Faith is a lifestyle that we must live and walk as believers if we are to please God.
But for us to walk and live this lifestyle, we must have a certain understanding.This understanding comes by faith and the inspiration of God *Hebrews 11:3*
*Job 32:8 But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.*
The breath of God is what brings the understanding to us and it is this understanding that is derived from the spirit that compels a believer to walk and live by faith.
God has already made promises to us, some in the written code and others through His speakings by the Holy Ghost but all these are signposts that should lead us to the Living Word.
Our responsibility is to go into the Holy scriptures, get a word that aligns with our specific situation and start meditating on it. *Joshua 1:8 and Acts 17:11* As you do so, God causes His inspiration (breathe) to come to us, bringing an understanding that causes you to encounter the living Word *John 5:39*
*Psalms 32:8-9 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse [or] like the mule, [Which] have no understanding, ...*
As we engage in the Word which is our foundation or any other spiritual activity, we are simply waiting for that understanding.
Most times it will come in steps. The best examples are seen in the life of Moses and Abraham.
Moses received an instruction to build a Tabernacle according to a certain pattern *Exodus 25:40.* but he waited for the inspiration of the Spirit. He did not hire anyone to build the Tabernacle but waited for that understanding to come. *Exodus 31:1-11*

The same experience was with our father of Faith, Abraham was called to go to a land which he never knew but along the way God kept bringing instructions to guide Him. There was a language of faith that kept coming to him.*Acts 7:1-8, Genesis 11:31, Genesis 12:3,7,14, Genesis 13:14-17 and Genesis 14:21-24*
*Isaiah 51:1-2*
The bible points us to Papa Abraham and as he did, we must know that the walk of faith is sometimes lonely: you will need to separate yourself from the rest in a sense of completely trusting and relying on God alone *Hebrews 11:6*
Remember, Faith is a language that you can't easily explain to someone but our assurance is the Word of God because we know that God can not lie *(Numbers 23:19)* ,He is the one that calls the end from the begining *(Isaiah 46:10)* and His Word is like rain that can never return to Him void without accomplishing that which it was sent for, receive it in your spirit, hold on it and run with it *(Isaiah 55:10-11)*
