Jamie Mackintosh on the Hurricanes' Performance vs the Crusaders
The Platform NZ Jamie Mackintosh - one-test All Black, former Highlanders and Southland prop and now Hurricanes set piece coach - joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport, ahead of his side's Super Rugby Pacific derby against the 'Landers in Dunedin on Saturday night. The 'Canes remain the only unbeaten side in the competition with five wins from five, including two wins over Kiwi opponents.
Mackintosh talks to Devlin about their performances this season so far with a specific focus on the victory over the Crusaders two weeks ago, and the strength of New Zealand rugby playing stocks at the moment, among other topics.
Mackintosh also shares a great story about the Ranfurly Shield celebrations he was part of way back in 2009 when the Stags took the shield off of Canterbury.
