Tuesday 2nd April 2024, and The South team have switched from their base at Poynder Park, Kelso, to The Greenyards 3G pitch to prepare for the next and final challenge in the Inter-District Championship, when they travel north to Inverness to play Caledonia Reds on the 3G pitch at Canal Park.
Head Coach Matty Douglas spoke about his thoughts on the first two matches which brought two wins, the challenge of playing on an artificial surface and the rare sight of a bounce training match between The South and Southern Knights at training, the closest we ever got to a game between the two teams in the South of Scotland region!
