A brief video giving an explanation into how can Jesus be both GOD and SON of GOD.
In the beginning Jesus was with GOD and He was GOD, He wasn't the SON of GOD. It was when JESUS took on the form of a human being that He became the SON of GOD.
There are 2 perspectives at play, the spiritual and the natural. Naturally, once a baby is born, people want to know who is the father. In the case of Jesus, both Joseph and Mary had to say that GOD was the Father, since that was the only explanation. Confessing that Jesus is the SON of GOD is acknowledging your faith that you believe that JESUS came from GOD.
Romans 8:9-11 - However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
