Whisky.com reviews the Ledaig Sinclair Series. This Ledaig is named after the founder of the distillery, John Sinclair. The distillery on the island of Mull was still called Ledaig (safe haven) in 1798. The first bottling of the new Sinclair Series was matured in casks in which sweet-fruity red wine from the Spanish Rioja had previously been stored.
