Elon Musk Just HINTED A Supersonic E-Plane That Would SHOCK Everyone!
The richest man in the world again stated that battery-powered boats and airplanes are a possibility on March 1 during Tesla's Investor Day. How would Elon Musk make this happen? And will he open a new company for this endeavor? Let’s find out in today’s episode!

On March 1, Elon Musk presented the third part of Tesla's "Master Plan," or the vision the business magnate sets for the maker of electric vehicles: transforming society into an economy based on renewable energy.
Of course, this strategy calls for a total overhaul of the transportation system. In the automotive industry, Tesla has already pushed the industry as a whole to produce electric cars, hence lowering polluting emissions.
A new platform for making vehicles that aims to cut production costs by 50% has just been unveiled by the business. The intention is to provide affordable vehicles in order to appeal to the general public, who still have reservations about electric cars due to their frequent astronomical costs.
During the event, Musk said: "All cars will become fully electric and autonomous."
The billionaire also seems to believe that flying and traveling in electric vehicles is the future. In any case, he implied as much when he mentioned the boats and the planes in the presentation he made to investors at a live streamed event.
According to Drew Baglino, SVP, Powertrain and Energy Engineering at Tesla, "fueling boats and airplanes sustainably is a necessary piece of the pie." "Shipping contributes 3% of the world's CO2 emissions, making it an ideal candidate for electrification, even with lithium ion and phosphate batteries. Long-haul ships can run entirely on batteries, so that presents a fantastic potential for electrification.
He admitted that the energy density made having battery-powered planes a little "harder," however "short haul is doable today."
There is a lot of work being done in this area, Musk added. "With some improvements will get long haul underway, but even in the meantime, we can leverage sustainable aviation fuels produced and stored using excess renewable electricity."
Musk continued by saying that the ship and the plane must be redesigned in order to achieve long-range battery-powered aircrafts and boats.
He explained that, "just like with an electric car, you wouldn't just, you know, take a gasoline car and stick a battery in it. That's very suboptimal. It's much more efficient to have the battery beat the structure of the car." He continued, "If that's done with the aircraft you can get long range aircraft."
"As we improve the energy density of batteries," Musk declared in his conclusion, "you'll see all transportation go fully electric, with the exception of rockets."
The billionaire declined to clarify whether Tesla will produce battery-powered boats and planes or if its recommendations would be made to aircraft producers.
