Das Helsinki Baroque Orchestra musiziert am 2. Juni zusammen mit dem Arnold Schönberg Chor und einem exzellenten Solistenensemble um Carolyn Sampson und Marie Seidler die Oper “Genoveva” von Robert Schumann zum ersten Mal in Düsseldorf auf historischen Instrumenten. Damals entdeckte Dirigent Nikolaus Harnoncourt das Werk in den 1990er Jahren wieder und glaubt, dass Schumann mit der "Genoveva" eine Neuerfindung der Oper gelang. The Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, together with the Arnold Schönberg Choir and an excellent ensemble of soloists led by Carolyn Sampson and Marie Seidler, will perform Robert Schumann's opera "Genoveva" on period instruments for the first time in Düsseldorf on 2 June.
