Driving in Portugal: Autoestrada A12 [IP 1] & A36 [IC17] from Montijo to Lisboa

In this video you can ride along on Autoestrada A12 (IP1) & A36 (IC17) from Montijo to Lisboa in Portugal. This is one of the two main access ways crossing the Tejo river into the Portuguese capital Lisbon.
The other one is the A2 further South that crosses the Tejo at a narrower point. I will feature that crossing of the Ponte de 25 Abril (which looks a lot like the Golden Gate bridge) in a future video. In this video we cross the Ponte Vasco da Gama, named after the famous Portuguese explorer.
The bridge has a slow build-up of a few kilometers until the more good looking part with the cables which is higher up. This is where ships can pass. I was lucky with the sunset in the background, the backdrop when crossing the last part of the bridge with Lisbon in the background was quite amazing.
I was less fortunate with the traffic though, which makes this video much more longer than it needed to be. I cut out most of the traffic jam part to not bore you. I think I lost about 30 to 45 minutes on those 2-3 kilometers thanks in part to very inefficient weaving and drivers ignoring the red crosses on the matrix signs.
