Throughout scripture, we are compared to the sheep who go astray or get lost. We have a great need for continual care and vigilant protection, and Christ offers us that and so much more. He is a shepherd who seeks out the one lost sheep and rejoices at its discovery! He leads us, guides us, and restores our souls.
