Hindustan Times Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has claimed the opposition was ready for an armed coup in the country as the Wagner group launched its revolt in Russia last week. According to the state-run BelTa news agency, Lukashenko said, "Belarusian opponents were ready to implement the scenario of an armed rebellion in Belarus, but I gave all the orders to put the army on full combat alert."
